Once the player is satisfied with the selected components, the golem can be activated with a short ritual and will become their follower. Pieces can be inserted and removed from the station to see what effect they will have on the golem. They do not actually require a head or arms, but heads provide much of the golem's final health, and golem without any weapon will not be very helpful in combat.
